Orthotics & Gait Analysis

orthotics

Our aim is to supply the public, with superior bespoke orthotics / insoles to prevent injury, improve performance, and provide customers with technology used by elite athletes.

What Orthotics do?

Imbalance in your feet can alter the bony structure of your feet and lower legs, foot orthotics may thus eliminate postural problems, lower back pain, foot and leg pain. NW3.

The aim of foot orthotics are to correct dysfunctional biomechanics and therefore:

  • Provide support.
  • Reduce pain.
  • Prevent or stop the development of foot deformity i.e. foot pronation, supination, bunions.
  • Provide better posture.
  • Relieve pressure on a certain area of the foot, knee, hip and back.
  • Improve the overall biomechanical function of the foot and lower extremity.
  • Improve overall physical and sporting performance.

Why Orthotics?

We know how important it is to be fitted with the correct shoe or trainer. Each foot an engineering masterpiece contains 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments and 19 muscles and one-quarter of all the bones in the human body are down in your feet.

Imbalances of the bones of the feet can result in abnormal foot motion for example flat foot or fallen arches (over pronation). This can impair foot function which can result in abnormal rotation of the legs and pelvis sometimes resulting in pain of the knees, hips or back.

Bespoke orthotics NW3 help to improve those structural changes thus improve performance and prevent or stop pain. Once the orthotics allow your feet to work in the way they were designed it will help reduce muscle strain, prevent torsion and added stresses being put on the muscles, ligaments and joints of the foot, ankle, knees, hips and spine. With orthotics your body will not have to try and control the poor mechanics and shock absorption will be greatly improved.

No one person has the same foot so we offer unique bespoke orthotics that can be fitted to footwear for comfort and pain free walking, running or exercise.

These orthotics are being used daily by premiership footballers, rugby players, golfers, triathletes and Olympic athletes and we are now able to offer the same bespoke to our customers.
