Camilla is experienced Osteopath in musculoskeletal conditions, however, has specialised in Paediatric Osteopathy (Babies, Children and Pregnant Ladies). At present she has decided to complete a Masters Degree in Paediatric Osteopathy where she is experiencing treating patients with a wide range of conditions from Infantile Colic to Children with severe Global Delay and Autism at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, London.
Camilla has recently become a mother herself and understands both the joys and strains of motherhood. During the pregnancy she received regular treatment and her baby has had its Newborn check-up.
Camilla uses Cranial Osteopathy (very gentle manual techniques) together with structural techniques to help many children and mothers to reduce the need for medication, assisting speedier recovery from illness and the effects of operations and providing fortification to the body during drug therapy. She finds the root of the problem so that a course of treatment can be devised to relieve the symptoms as soon as possible and then to prevent them returning.
She also does check-ups for newborn babies and will treat them for conditions such as colic, reflux, sleepless nights, sticky eyes, plagiocephaly (flat head) and constipation. Conditions treated in older children may include ear infections, constant upper respiratory tract infections, chromosomal disorders symptoms and back pain.
Camilla covers all aspects of recovery for mothers and babies from nutrition to exercise and practical advice such as pelvic floor exercises, breast feeding, winding and sleeping.
Camilla is also able to treat functionally-structurally, treating patients of all ages for all injuries from simple back pain, tennis elbow and sciatica to arthritis and headaches. Call to book your consultation at our NW3 & NW8 clinics.
